Porticol works with no account and no connection to any Porticol server.
- Create collections, send requests to any host your computer can reach and keep history, all without signing in.
- Collections, environments, settings and history are stored in one SQLite file in your data folder.
- Secret values live in your operating system's keychain. Where there is none, they are kept in a file encrypted under a passphrase you set.
- Back up collections, environments, globals, cookies and settings to one file, without secret values, and restore it on another computer.
- The database is copied before each upgrade, and a failed upgrade writes nothing.
